A 907,000 square-foot data center for a large U.S. corporation was being built on 500 acres of former farm property in Dekalb, Illinois.

Berger was hired as the general contractor to complete the one-mile highway realignment, which included 150,000 CY of earth movement as well as storm sewer installation and a detention basin.

In March of 2020, the village hired Berger as the general contractor to excavate and install the new storm sewer, which would be the second largest storm trap installation in the state. Berger coordinated with ten subcontractors to complete the project.
